TALON, THE BLADE’S SHADOW

Talon is the knife in the darkness, a merciless killer able to strike without warning and escape before any alarm is raised. He carved out a dangerous reputation on the brutal streets of Noxus, where he was forced to fight, kill, and steal to survive. Adopted by the notorious Du Couteau family, he now plies his deadly trade at the empire's command, assassinating enemy leaders, captains, and heroes… as well as any Noxian foolish enough to earn the scorn of their masters.

LUNAR EXTRAVAGANZA: YEAR OF THE DRAGON

Happy Year of the Dragon! It’s a big year for our boy Aurelion Sol so be on the lookout for the Lunar Guardian event where you can get the Lunar Guardian skin for him, completely FREE! With the Lunar Extravaganza event, we will also be giving out 3 chromas. Log in, play a game, and send red pockets to your friends for a chance to get some poro energy or even a skin!

CHAMPION CHANGES

GAREN

Baron Laners these days have a wide variety of items to choose from depending on their lane match-up. This puts Garen in a tricky spot as he no longer has the early game pressure he used to exert. We’re giving him a little boost in damage to make sure his sword stays sharpened.

Decisive Strike

  • Damage: 30/70/110/150 + 40% Attack Damage → 40/80/120/160 + 40% Attack Damage

Judgment

  • Damage per on-hit: 11/14/17/20 + 30%/35%/40%/45% Attack Damage → 12/16/20/24 + 30%/35%/40%/45% Attack Damage

AURELION SOL

It’s easy to make the wrong turn on Aurelion Sol. You could say… he’s a little hard to drive. We’re going to optimize his maneuverability during Astral Flight so you can make sick plays while staying on track.

ASTRAL FLIGHT

  • Optimized maneuverability

SYNDRA

Syndra hasn’t been able to show off her full prowess during the early game. We’ve tweaked some of her numbers so she can really shine.

base_stats

  • Base Health: 540 → 570

DARK SPHERE

  • Damage: 70/110/150/190 + 55% Ability Power → 70/115/160/205 + 65% Ability Power

ZYRA

We’re adjusting the health of Zyra’s plants and buffering the damage to make sure she’s impactful in the early game. It’s never too early to start priming your garden.

GARDEN OF THORNS

  • Health of Thorn Spitter: (20 - 160) + 35% Ability Power → (20 - 272) + 25% Ability Power

DEADLY SPINES

  • Damage: 60/110/160/210 + 50% Ability Power → 70/125/180/235 + 50% Ability Power

ZIGGS

Ziggs’ bombs aren’t making the impact we had hoped. These changes will ensure that he will be popping enemies and turrets alike.

Short Fuse

  • Damage to turret: 15% → 24%
  • Empowered damage of Bouncing Bomb to turret: 20% → 32%

Bouncing Bomb

  • Damage: 65/130/195/260 + 65% Ability Power → 70/135/200/265 + 65% Ability Power
  • Cooldown: 7.5/6.5/5.5/4.5s → 6/5.5/5/4.5s

SIVIR

We’ve tweaked the damage ratio of Ricochet so Sivir can perform well even from behind, while her enemies are still able to find counterplay when she is ahead.

RICOCHET

  • Damage: 22%/24%/26%/28% Attack Damage → 8/10/12/14 + 15%/17%/19%/21% Attack Damage

FIZZ

Fizz has been making a big splash. These changes will let his opponent come up for air, especially in late-game team fights.

Urchin Strike

  • Damage: 20/40/60/80 + 55% Ability Power + 100% Attack Damage → 20/40/60/80 + 50% Ability Power + 100% Attack Damage

RENDING WAVE

  • Empowered basic attack: 50/75/100/125 + 50% Ability Power → 50/75/100/125 + 45% Ability Power

TWITCH

Like Fizz, Twitch has been running circles around his opponents. These adjustments will ensure he’s not bulldozing through early and mid-game team fights.

  • Base Attack Damage: 58 → 54
  • Attack Damage per level: 4.5 → 3.5

SPRAY AND PRAY

  • Bonus Attack Damage gained: 25/40/55 → 20/35/50

YUUMI

Your best friend in the Dragon Lane is getting some changes. With a new passive and some tweaks to her ratios, she will be able to zoom faster and longer with her bestie!

BOP 'N' BLOCK

  • [New] Yuumi's attacks and abilities against enemy champions grant her a shield, which also takes effect when Yuumi is Attached
  • Shield value: 35 + 25 per level + 25% Ability Power → 50 + 10 per level + 25% Ability Power
  • Cooldown: 18/15/12/9s (growth at 1/5/9/13 levels) → all levels 18s

YOU AND ME!

  • Adaptive power: 7.5/9/10.5/12 + 8/11/14/17% bonus Attack Damage of Yuumi’s allies or 15/18/21/24 + 8/11/14/17% Ability Power of Yuumi’s allies → 8/14/20/26 + (5 + 0.25 per level)% bonus Attack Damage or 16/28/40/52 + (5 + 0.25 per level)% bonus Ability Power

You can resist Crit based to your Crit rate (maximum 60%), receiving less damage (by 40%) while gaining Crit rate

  • Crit rate: 10% → 15%

LIGHTNING STRIKES (GOLD)

Gain bonus Attack Damage according to your own Attack Speed (gain 2 AD per 0.1 Attack Speed)

  • AD gained per 0.1 Attack Speed: 2 → 1.5

MECHANICS

  • Champion Cameos will show up in the battlefield during Round 2, 7, and then again in every round after 7.

NASUS

(1) Siphoning Strike

  • Passive stacks added per round: 25 → 30

KATARINA

(1) Bouncing Blade

  • Cooldown changed to 6s

(2) Preparation

  • Cooldown changed to 4s

THRESH

(P) Damnation

  • Passive stacks added per round 3 → 5

BRAUM

(P) Concussive Blows

  • Passive Cooldown changes 8s → 4s

GRAGAS

(3) Body Slam

  • Cooldown reduction: 3s → 1.5s when successfully hit enemy targets
    • We noticed that Gragas can continuously body slam opponents with the right hextechs, leaving little room for counterplay. Now he will need more Augments to be able to do that. We are keeping an eye on this and will adjust accordingly.

We’ve buffed the shockwave range of Titanic hydra so it can be more effective in team fights.

Cleave

  • Range of the shockwave: 500 → 550

HEARTSTEEL

We’re making it easier to gain charges on Heartsteel so it can have a bigger impact in gameplay.

Colossal Consumption

  • Time for charging the huge strike: 3s → 2.5s

STRATEGIC POINT

We are optimizing the trigger conditions of Strategic Points to make it more difficult to trigger.

MATCHMAKING OPTIMIZATION

We’re increasing the weight of winning/losing games relative to the other factors. Game outcome will be a more significant determinant for future matchmaking accuracy. This should optimize matchmaking mechanism for edge cases.
