Wild Rift Patch Notes 3.3a
Coming off our big changes to ultimate cooldown reductions in 3.3, we’re making a few adjustments and tweaks across the board. You’ll also be left powerless and void of thoughts when Kassadin, The Void Walker emerges onto the Rift in 3.3a!
CHAMPION CHANGES

DRAVEN
Our recent systemic changes in addition to the buff we gave Draven has put him over the top. We like some of the power his recent changes gave him, so instead of axing it, we’re going to cut back on some of the damage Spinning Axe grants. This way Draven isn’t dealing as much damage when he gets those big purchases off passive cash-ins.
SPINNING AXE
- Bonus Attack Damage ratio: 100/110/120/130% → 90/100/110/120%

EKKO
While Ekko has been succeeding in the jungle, that same performance isn’t echoing over into the Mid Lane. To balance out his power in both of these roles, we’re reducing how quickly he clears Jungle camps and the mana cost of Timewinder so that Ekko can more efficiently harass enemy champions during the early laning phase.
Z-DRIVE RESONANCE
- Bonus damage to monsters: 150% → 120%
TIMEWINDER
- Mana cost: 60/70/80/90 → 50/60/70/80

JAYCE
Jayce hasn’t performed that well outside of higher levels of play. To make Piltover’s finest a bit more approachable, we’re cautiously giving him a little extra scaling on his Attack Damage.
TO THE SKIES! / SHOCK BLAST
- Attack Damage ratio: 120% Bonus Attack Damage → 130% Bonus Attack Damage

PYKE
Despite players climbing his mastery curve, Pyke isn’t performing as well as we’d like to see in the support role. We’re giving him some leeway to take some extra damage here and there particularly in the support role. Given his performance in other roles, we’re also cutting back on his ability to clear waves and jungle camps as easily as he can.
BASE STATS
- Health growth: 115 → 125
GIFT OF THE DROWNED ONES
- Gray health storage when two or more enemy champions nearby: 35% damage suffered → 45% damage suffered
PHANTOM UNDERTOW
- Deals 25% damage to minions and monsters
DEATH FROM BELOW
- Skill description has been modified to provide better clarification of the “cut” granted to Pyke and his allies

RENEKTON
Over the course of the last few patches, Renekton has been struggling to navi-gator his way around the Baron Lane, so we’re giving him some extra scaling offensively and defensively to help him out.
CULL THE MEEK
- Healing bonus Attack Damage ratio per enemy hit: 8% → 10%
RUTHLESS PREDATOR
- Base damage per strike: 10/20/30/40 → 10/25/40/55
- Normal total base damage: 20/40/60/80 → 20/50/80/110
- Enhanced total base damage: 30/60/90/120 → 30/75/120/165
- Base damage per strike: 10/20/30/40 → 10/25/40/55

SENNA
Senna has been a dominant force in organized play and a powerful champion in Ranked for nearly her entire lifetime in Wild Rift, so we’re re-evaluating some of the strengths and weaknesses in her ar-senna-l. We’re cutting back on her ability to deal sustained damage in the later stages of the game and her power in short trades to limit her ability to masquerade as a full Crit carry without building any Attack Speed or Crit.
BASE STATS
- Attack Speed Growth: 2.2% → 1.2%
ABSOLUTION
Mist trigger damage: 1.6%-16% current health (max at level 10) → 1.2%-12% current health (max at level 10)

SHEN
The champion Ultimate Cooldown reduction changes in Patch 3.3 have favored Shen more than we expected, making him one of the most powerful champions on the Rift. To restore balance back to the Baron Lane, we’re pulling back on his overall dueling potential.
KI BARRIER
- Shield: 60-109 → 51-100
TWILIGHT ASSAULT
- Enhanced maximum health ratio: 5.5/6/6.5/7% → 5/5.5/6/6.5%

SONA
The recent systemic changes have been extremely favorable for Sona, so we’re lowering the volume on some of her scaling power, before she reaches a Crescendo.
Aria of Perseverance
- Shield: 25/65/105/145 → 25/55/85/115
Crescendo
- Basic ability cooldown reduction: 10/25/40% → 10/20/30%

SORAKA
Soraka is one of the champions that benefited the most from our Ultimate Cooldown reductions last patch, especially for her tanky builds that lean heavily on Wish’s base values. We’re going to shift some power into the Ability Power ratio to make sure Soraka is rewarded for building magic damage.
Wish
- Base Heal: 150/250/350 (+40% Ability Power) → 150/225/300 (+45% Ability Power)

YASUO
Yasuo’s ability to take fast trades in lane and shrug off chip damage in the later stages of the game is stronger than we’d like, so we’re cutting down on the strength and duration of his passive shield.
Way of the Wanderer
- Shield: 100-520 → 100-485
- Shield duration: 2s → 1.5s
