This patch we are sprinting onto the Rift with Sivir, the Battle Mistress. Accompanying her will be a fun new event and two brand-spanking new Blood Moon skins! And as always, your regularly scheduled balance updates. Welcome to Patch 4.4b!

TRINITY FORCE
Tons of damage, tons of gold? Well…kind of. Right now, we feel Trinity Force isn’t doing as much damage as it should, and it’s also costing too much for what it does, so we’re adjusting both!

- Attack Damage: 25 → 30
CRYSTALLINE REFLECTOR
Crystalline Reflector isn’t as effective as we had hoped it to be against physical damage opponents. These buffs will make it a reliable pickup when you’re struggling against anyone hitting you a little too hard.
Base Stats
- Maximum Health: 150 → 200
- [NEW] +7% magic penetration
Mirrored Force
- Physical damage blocked: 8~15 → 8~25
IMMORTAL SHIELDBOW
Immortal Shieldbow’s unique abilities have been lackluster, making it a less popular pick compared to other physical items. These changes will make it a top pick again for those who need a little more protection.
Lifeline
- Shield: 200 + 3 per 1% Critical Rate (200~500) → 300 + 3 per 1% Critical Rate (300~600)
Battle Furor
- When Lifeline is triggered: 5% Physical Vamp → 8% Physical Vamp
RANDUIN’S OMEN
We’ve adjusted some numbers and its cost to make it a more efficient pickup when you’re facing a crit heavy enemy team.
Base stats
- Total cost: 2900g → 2800g
- Armor: 60 → 65
Determination
- Charges gained: Melee 20%/ranged 14% of pre-mitigation damage → Melee 25%/ranged 18% of pre-mitigation damage
CHEMPUNK CHAINSWORD
We introduced Chempunk Chainsword in Patch 4.4, but it hasn’t been the most popular purchase since its release. While Grievous Wounds is a more niche pick up, we wanted to make some adjustments so that this item has power outside of just its anti-heal.

- Attack Damage: 40 → 45
- Maximum Health: 200 → 250
- Ability Haste: 10 → 15
MORELLONOMICON
We’re adjusting the price of Morellonomicon and giving it health so that we can even out the utility and stats it provides.

- [NEW] +150 max Health
BLOODTHIRSTER
Bloodthirster’s build patch is getting updated. We wanted to even out its path so that you can pick a component up every time you return to base, and aren’t left with awkward gold when you go to the shop and try to build as your first item. We’re also adjusting some numbers to balance out these changes.
Build path update
- Vampiric Scepter (1200g) + Cloak of Agility (1000g) + Long Sword (500g) + 600g
- Total cost: 3300g (unchanged)
Base stats
- Attack Damage: 55 → 50
Bloodsworn:
- Gain attack speed when Health is above 50%: 15% → 10%
RUNE CHANGES
KRAKEN SLAYER
Kraken Slayer hasn’t been a popular pick-up, and other Keystones have been outshining it. We’re giving it some more damage to try and make it a more desirable choice when picking your runes.
Damage: 28~84 + 30% bonus Attack Damage + 20% Ability Power → 30~95 + 40% bonus Attack Damage + 20% Ability Power
ICE DRAGON SOUL
Compared to the other Dragon pals, the soul that Ice Dragon offers is a less plentiful boon. These changes will raise it up to the same level as the others.
Bonus True Damage
- 10% of the damage received during the mark → 12% of the damage received during the mark
Slow
- 40% → 50%
RIOT ID CHANGES
You might have heard that we are making some updates about Riot IDs starting on November 20th.
- Paid name changes will now be free
- You can now change your name every 90 days
