Reminder: content will be released throughout the patch.

NEW

NEW CHAMPIONS

MEL, THE SOUL’S REFLECTION

Mel Medarda is the presumed heir of the Medarda family, once one of the most powerful in Noxus. In appearance she is a graceful aristocrat, but beneath the surface lies a skilled politician who makes it her business to know everything about everyone she meets. After an encounter with the mysterious Black Rose, Mel discovered the depths of her mother's deception and, for once, faced a situation potentially beyond her control. With newly awakened magical abilities, she sailed home in search of answers—and though many still seek to temper the light within her, Mel's soul remains forever defiant.

Mel will be released on March 13 at 00:01 UTC.

CHAMPION CHANGES

FIDDLESTICKS

Fiddlesticks has been underperforming across the board and several unintended mechanical tricks have made his mastery path unclear. Because of this, the team aims to remove some of the unclear power and shift strength back into his core gameplay. Additionally, his passive felt unclear, leaving foes unsure how to respond, while also lacking meaningful strategic value. So, we’re increasing the payoff and overall damage and crowd control capability, while reducing the reliance on tricks and narrowing the gap between his skill floor and ceiling. We’re also improving the clarity of his passive effigies, making both the counterplay and effects upon triggering more distinct and impactful.

A Harmless Scarecrow

  • [Removed] Original Effect

  • [New] After a takedown, Summon a Scarecrow Effigy that walks toward the nearest enemy. After 3s, or upon reaching the target, it explodes, fearing nearby enemy champions.

Terrify

  • [Removed] No longer fears targets along the path.

  • [New] Fears a selected target.

  • Fear duration: 1/1.1/1.2/1.3s → 1/1.2/1.4/1.6s

Bountiful Harvest

  • [New] When casting Bountiful Harvest, Fiddlestick is slowed by 30%

  • [New] If the ability completes its full channel, or if all targets within its range are killed before it ends, 50% of its cooldown is refunded.

  • [New] After 1s, the ability can be recast to end it early

  • [New] During the channel, Fiddlesticks cannot use other abilities or basic attacks.

  • Cooldown: 8/7.5/7/6.5s → 11/10/9/8s

  • Damage per second: 60/90/120/150 + 25% Ability Power → 60/100/140/180 + 35% Ability Power

  • Damage equal to the target’s missing Health: 10/11.5/13/14.5% → 12/14/16/18%

Crowstorm

  • Damage per 0.25s: 25/42.5/60 + 10% Ability Power → 30/50/70 + 20% Ability Power

XAYAH

We found that Xayah’s ultimate with auto-aim was unreliable when there were no nearby attackable targets, preventing it from effectively dodging incoming ranged attacks. So, we’ve optimized its usability.

Featherstorm

  • [New] The ability can now be cast by tapping, even when there are no nearby targets.

RELL

Rell’s been feeling a little unbridled lately. With rune changes leaving her durability lagging behind other supports, we’re boosting her survivability and early game trading power to help her get back in the saddle.

Base Stats

  • Base Armor: 40 → 46

  • Base Attack Damage: 58 → 62

Shattering Strike

  • Damage: 70/125/180/235 → 70/130/190/250

NORRA

Norra is currently overperforming, with her second skill’s crowd control making her too dominant in the support role. We’re reducing its damage and increasing its mid to late game cooldown to give foes more opportunities for counterplay.

Journey to Nowhere

  • Cooldown: 18/16.5/15/13.5s → 18/17/16/15s

  • Damage: 75/115/155/195 → 65/105/145/185

MORDEKAISER

Mordekaiser has struggled to feel the impact of the bonus Attack Damage stolen by his ultimate. We’ve added a bonus AD ratio to his first ability, making the stolen stats more meaningful and giving him more item build options.

Obliterate

  • Damage: 80/110/140/170(+4-70(Base on Level))(+70% Ability Power)) → 80/110/140/170(+4-70(Base on Level))(+70%Ability Power)(+120% bonus Attack Damage)

HECARIM

Hecarim’s been running circles in higher levels of play because of his early roaming power. We’re reining in his early damage and giving him a stronger late game gallop.

Base Stats

  • Base Attack Damage: 58 → 54

  • Attack Damage per level: 3.6 → 4

Spirit of Dread

  • Damage: 15/20/25/30 → 12/18/24/30
