SMASH 2026 Location Reveal

TLDR; We’re excited to share more details about Wild Rounds: SMASH! With a new location locked in and some fun updates to how the tournament will play out.

WHAT IS SMASH

SMASH is our cross-regional competition and celebration of the Wild Rift community, where we’ve continued to experiment with new and exciting event formats. Across its first two editions, we’ve brought together pros and influencers from around the world to compete in a variety of ways.

It’s been incredible to see these different communities collide and compete, and the response from players and viewers has been amazing to see. SMASH was built with all of you in mind, and thanks to your feedback, it’s grown into something even bigger. With two events now under our belt, we’re excited to keep expanding and evolving the experience even further. And now we’re excited to share a little bit more about what’s to come for SMASH in 2026.

WILD ROUNDS: SMASH HEADS TO SOUTH KOREA

Following last year’s SMASH in Vietnam, we’ll be ramping up the fun and competition again, this time in South Korea. This will also be the first time we’ll be hosting SMASH in South Korea. We can’t wait to introduce the fresh setting for all our players and creators!

SMASH will be in November of this year. And while we’re not revealing the location just yet, stay tuned as we will be revealing it with the help from some of our creators in the coming weeks.

SMASH UPDATES

As we’ve now hosted two SMASH tournaments we’ve been able to hear from those of you who have attended, watched or participated. Your feedback has been vital to us, as our goal with this event is to put on something amazing for you all, our dedicated community members. One of the top pieces of feedback we received was that there was a desire for players who might not be creators or pros who also want to participate.

So this year, we will have one major change to SMASH: Road to SMASH. This will be how you can qualify to play at the big event through a series of events leading up to SMASH.
