    • Stage 3 - Playoffs: September 30 - October 3, 2021

Teams will be competing for the championship title and a combined prize pool of USD 200,000. In the Play-ins stage, 12 teams from the SEA Icon Series Fall Season tournaments will be seeded into 3 brackets, with each bracket competing in a double-elimination format. The 12 teams include 8 of the 1st runner ups from each regions’ SEA Icon Series Fall Season tournament, with the additional 2 teams from Vietnam, 1 team from Thailand, and 1 team from Taiwan - these 3 regions were granted additional slots due to their excellent performance in the previous Summer Super Cup. These teams will be competing in a double elimination format in a Best-of-5 series, and only the last team standing in each bracket will move on to the next stage.

In the Group Stage, the three teams who qualified from the Play-ins will meet with the champions of each regions’ SEA Icon Series Fall Season tournament alongside the winner of the ESL Mobile Open: Wild Rift Oceania Championship. The 12 Group Stage teams will be divided into two groups where they will be playing against each other in a Best-of-2 Single Round Robin format. 6 teams in each group will compete, but only 4 will proceed to the Playoffs stage.

In the Playoffs, advantages will be given based on the teams’ performance in the Group Stage.

The first seeds of the group will advance directly into Upper Bracket Round 2. The second and third seeds of the Group Stage will compete in Upper Bracket Round 1 in the Playoffs. Winners will continue to progress while the losers will drop into the Lower Bracket. The Upper Bracket matches will be played in a Best-of-5 format while the Lower Bracket matches will be played in a Best-of-3, with the exception for the Lower Bracket Finals which will also be played in Best-of-5 format. Finally, we come to the Grand Finals which will be played in a Best-of-7 format. The best two teams in the region will battle it out and unleash their greatness to be crowned the champions of Wild Rift SEA Championship 2021.
