GROUP STAGE

Teams from all major cities in the Philippines who have made it through the Qualifier stage held from 3 - 25 April 2021, have been participating in the Group stage that runs from 9 April - 30 May 2021.

Teams are split into 4 groups - North Luzon, South Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao. Both North and South Luzon regions went through triple round-robin matchups with each series win amounting to 50,000 Globe Cup Points* (GCP). Whereas Visayas and Mindanao regions had double round-robin with each series win amounting to 75,000 GCP. Teams who win the best of 3 per series will be eligible for one of 8 seats to compete in the Summer Season Playoffs.

Winners in this stage will also be competing for a 900,000 GCP prize pool, which amounts to 50,000 GCP per series.
*1 GCP = 1 PHP

PLAYOFFS

The Summer Season Playoffs features 3 days of thrilling competition between 4 - 6 June where 8 qualifying teams will battle through a double-elimination bracket to reach the grand finals, which will be run in a best of 5 games format. Teams will be competing for a 1,400,000 GCP prize pool, which amounts to 100,000 GPC per series.

The top 4 teams from the Summer Season Playoffs will also secure a slot in the Fall Season Playoffs later this year. Additionally, the top 2 teams will qualify for the Summer Super Cup. The Summer Super Cup is the first-ever pan-regional Wild Rift tournament where the top 2 teams from all SEA regions will compete for a prize pool of USD 150,000.
